Extras needed in Winston-Salem
November 8 & 14-16, 2008
WINSTON-SALEM - Filming has begun on the movie, "The 5th Quarter," and extras are needed for scenes to be shot in Winston-Salem in November.
The film follows the 2006 championship football season at Wake Forest University. It focuses on Jon Abbate, a linebacker who dedicated the season to the memory of his younger brother, Luke, who was killed in a car accident.
Actor Ryan Merriman will play Jon Abbate, and Aidan Quinn and Andie MacDowell will play his parents.
Altair Casting & Production Services is looking for extras to work as high school and college students, parents, college faculty, medical personnel, and family friends of all ages.
Extras are needed to work full days Nov. 8, 14, 15 and 16 in Winston-Salem.
Some positions pay a small stipend.
