Two Reality Series looking for NC participants

Jun 28, 2010

CMT's "World's Strictest Parents" and Food Network's new "Restaurant: Impossible" hope to find their next stars in NC

Two reality series have issued casting calls and are hoping to find North Carolinians who fit their bill.

The producers of parenting phenomenon THE WORLD’S STRICTEST PARENTS on CMT are now searching for families in North Carolina to host a rebellious teenager for a few days.

CMT documents the journey of two unruly teens from different families as they are forced to adapt to the rules and regulations of very strict host parents. Living under different standards from their families back home, the misbehaving teens are subject to punishment for breaking rules and skipping chores while the strict parents help them mend their ways.  Producers are seeking parents with unique interests; parents with strong family values; conservatives; farmers; parents with devout religious beliefs; academics; eco-friendly parents; and parents who have ordinary or extraordinary circumstances.  Parents who are proud of their firm family structure, have well behaved kids, and want to show off their unflinching strict parenting skills are encouraged to apply.

Interested parents may apply from anywhere via www.theworldsstrictestparents.com. They can also call 888-41-TEENS (1-888-418-3367) or email chazel@shedmediaus.com  for more information.

The new reality series RESTAURANT: IMPOSSIBLE on Food Network is also searching North Carolina for participants on their show.

Producers are searching for restaurants that are at risk of closing and in need of a boost in customers, good reviews and overall revenue.  The restaurant's owners and management will take guidance from a celebrity chef and must be willing to overhaul their menu, decor and theme.

Interested owners and managers should call 267-514-7693 or 267-514-7682.  Family run restaurants and restaurants with strong, outgoing owners are encouraged to call and find out more.
